Association of Asian American Yale Alumni -
Several years ago, a group of Asian Yale alumni asked the Fund to help them establish a program to provide summer fellowships for Yale students interested in nonprofit work.
The Fund administers the gifts from their alumni group members, which frees the group to concentrate on what they enjoy most - interacting with students and promoting community service.
After a member of their group lost her life in a tragic airplane accident, the Association's founders mounted a campaign to establish a permanently Endowed Fund in their classmate's memory.
