Acknowledgements

Growing Up Asian in America has been a valued community resource since 1995, and it is made possible every year by the enthusiasm of supporters who appreciate the role it plays in students lives.

Many young people do not have opportunities to explore their heritage or identity in a structured way, like in school or through extracurricular activities. Growing Up Asian in America helps fill this gap by providing Asian American youth an opportunity to reflect on their experiences.

We are grateful for the many teachers, parents, librarians, youth program directors, religious leaders, and other community members who encouraged young people to participate in Growing Up Asian in America. Thank you for embracing this program in schools, libraries and your homes, and making it possible for us to reach so many in this region.

We are especially thankful for the guidance of our volunteer advisory committee of professionals in the media, public relations and marketing. We extend our thanks for their involvement and counsel.
