Our Community
The community we serve is diverse with many Asian ethnic groups including Cambodian, Chinese, Filipino, Indian Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, other South Asian, other Southeast Asian and Pacific Islanders and people of mixed ethnic background. We are the only community foundation in the region that specializes in working with Asian donors and our work is focused mostly in the San Francisco Bay Area.
To reach people who are the most vulnerable, the Asian Pacific Fund provides resources to a broad range of community based Asian organizations that provide services in dozens of communities throughout the Bay Area.
The Fund also serves a community of donors. Some people want to know more about the Asian community; others want to direct their gifts to a particular issue or ethnic community, still others simply want to help us build a strong Asian foundation.
