Asian American Federation of New York
A not-for-profit umbrella organization of thirty-six health and human service agencies that address the needs of Asian Americans in metropolitan New York, from articulating public policy matters to generating human and financial resources.

Asian Pacific Community Fund (Los Angeles)
A non-profit federation of community based social service organizations, business leaders and community representatives who joined together to build workplace giving campaigns and provide resources for community programs in metropolitan Los Angeles.

National Professional & Civic Organizations

Ascend
A non-profit professional association also known as the National Asian American Society of Accountants. Created to enhance the presence and influence of Asian Americans in accounting, finance and other business-related fields, and to encourage the development of accounting and finance students and professionals.

Asian American Government Executives Network
A non-partisan organization of the highest ranking Asian Pacific American career and appointed executives, foreign service officers, legislative and judiciary members, and military officers in the Federal, state, and local governments.

Asian American Journalists Association (AAJA)
A non-profit membership organization, AAJA works: to encourage Asian Pacific Americans (APA) to enter the ranks of journalism; for fair and accurate coverage of APA, and to increase the number of APA journalists and news managers in the industry.

Asian American and Pacific Islanders in Philanthropy
Dedicated to increasing the participation and leadership of Asian Pacific Americans (APA) in philanthropy, and the philanthropic resources available to APA communities. Members include foundations, the staff and trustees of grant making institutions, and representatives of non- profit organizations.

Association of Asian Pacific Community Health Organizations
Promotes advocacy, collaboration and leadership to improve the health status and access of Asian American, Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders within the U.S. and its territories, primarily through member community health clinics.

Committee of 100
A group of concerned Chinese Americans who are leaders in their fields, the Committee addresses issues concerning the Chinese-American community as well as those affecting U.S.-China relations.

Hapa Issues Forum
A national non-profit organization that explores the mixed race Asian American experience.

Hmong National Development, Inc.
A national Hmong organization, established to work on the issues of self-sufficiency and education, also offers assistance to Hmong communities throughout the United States in areas such as community development and advocacy.

Indian American Center for Political Awareness
Increases awareness and encourages participation by the Indian American community in the American democracy through programs such as a Congressional internship program and a political issues newsletter.

Japanese American Citizens League
A membership organization whose mission is to secure and maintain the human and civil rights of Americans of Japanese ancestry and others victimized by injustice.

Korean American Coalition
A non-profit, non-partisan community advocacy organization whose mission is to facilitate the Korean American community's participation in civic, legislative, and community affairs. Based in Los Angeles.

Leadership Education for Asian Pacifics, Inc.
Offers leadership training, publishes original public policy research, and conducts community education to achieve full participation and equality for Asian Pacific Americans.

National Alliance of Vietnamese American Service Agencies
Strengthens the development of member community-based organizations by providing technical assistance, leadership building and training, funding development assistance.

National Asian Pacific American Bar Association
An umbrella organization focused on professional development of its members, scholarship and education within the legal profession and advocacy for the Asian Pacific American community at large

National Asian Pacific American Families Against Substance Abuse
Membership organization dedicated to addressing the alcohol, tobacco, and other drug issues of Asian and Pacific Islander (API) populations on the continental U.S., Hawaii, the six Pacific Island jurisdictions and elsewhere

National Asian Pacific American Legal Consortium
A non-partisan collaborative working to advance the legal and civil rights of Asian Pacific Americans through litigation, public education and public policy. Focuses on: anti-Asian violence prevention and education, voting rights, immigration, naturalization, affirmative action, language rights and the census.

National Federation of Filipino American Associations
A non-profit, non-partisan organization established to promote the welfare and well-being of all Filipinos and Filipino Americans throughout the United States by promoting awareness, civic participation, social justice, and community development.

National Federation of Indian American Associations, Inc

National Korean American Service & Education Consortium
Facilitates civic participation of Korean Americans, educates the public on issues affecting Korean American communities, assists local community organizations in providing needed social services, and promotes Korean cultural heritage

Organization of Chinese Americans, Inc.
A national non-partisan advocacy organization of concerned Chinese Americans dedicated to securing the rights of Chinese American and Asian American citizens and permanent residents through legislative and policy initiatives at all levels of the government.

Southeast Asian Resource Action Center
Founded to facilitate the relocation of Southeast Asian refugees and the development of nonprofit organizations led by and for Southeast Asians, the Center promotes leadership development and advocates for the diverse Southeast Asian American community.

National Asian Pacific Center on Aging
An advocacy organization committed to the dignity, well-being and quality of life of Asian Pacific Americans in their senior years, also provides employment programs, multilingual community forums and healthcare education.

South Asian Journalists Association
A professional group for journalists that seeks to foster ties among South Asian journalists in North America and improve standards of journalistic coverage of South Asia and South Asian America.

UCLA Asian American Studies Center
The largest Asian American Studies teaching program in the nation, the publisher of Amerasia Journal, the annual Asian Pacific American Political Almanac, and other titles from its academic press.

The White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders
Helps develop federal efforts to improve Asian American and Pacific Islander participation in government programs, foster research and data collection, and increase public and private sector in improving the health and well-being of AAPIs.

Angel Island Immigration Station Foundation
Preserves, restores and interprets Angel Island Immigration Station, a National Historic Landmark and promotes educational activities that further the understanding of Pacific Rim immigration in American history.

Asian American Bar Association of the Greater Bay Area Active in six Bay Area counties, the association promotes the professional growth of its members, and fosters the exchange of ideas and information among its members and with the legal community at large.

Asian Americans for Community Outreach
A group for young Asian American professionals interested in community service.

Asian American Multi-technology Association
Representing more than 650 members from over 550 corporations, AAMA promotes the growth and success of U.S. technology, manufacturing and related enterprises throughout the Pacific Rim

Chinese American Political Association
A nonpartisan political association dedicated to political education. An Internship Program provides college and high school students an opportunity to broaden their understanding of government by working in legislative offices in the Bay Area.

Japanese American Chamber of Commerce, Silicon Valley
Supports member's business interests through developing mutually beneficial commercial and social relationships with regional, national, and global partners in both the private and public sectors, recognizes the unique Japanese American cultural heritage.

Korean American Society of Entrepreneurs
Mission is to foster and support a growing network of Korean American interested in starting or playing key roles in professionally managed high growth companies in North America

Network of Indian Professionals (San Francisco)
The San Francisco Bay Area chapter provides a professional and social network for South Asians, promotes awareness of South Asian communities and culture, and organizes charitable and education events for the Bay Area.

NICOS Chinese Health Coalition
A community collaboration of more than 40 health and human service organizations and concerned individuals working in San Francisco's Chinatown

Pacific Islanders' Cultural Association

Provides a forum for individuals interested in cooperation between US and India in hi-tech areas.

Singapore American Business Association
Promotes business relationships between the Silicon Valley, Singapore, and the rest of the Pacific Rim.

South Asian Bar Association of Northern California
With members in public interest organizations, in government legal departments, and in small and large private law firms throughout Northern California, SABA addresses issues of interest to the South Asian community, including immigration and family law.

The IndUS Entrepreneurs
Non-profit global network of entrepreneurs and professionals, established to foster entrepreneurship and nurture entrepreneurs

Third Thursdays
Monthly panel and small group discussions for Asian and Pacific Islanders (early-to-mid career professionals from the nonprofit, corporate, and government sectors) interested in learning about needs and issues in the Asian Pacific American community.
